St george's space
9-5 Monday to saturday
Wednesday & Friday 11am-3pm
Foodbank feeds individuals & families in moments of crisis. It does this by supporting with food, prayer & love. Hopefully, more than anything, it provides hope to change the future for clients.
We would love to become mobile, support anyone, and go on a relational journey with them; and then to be able to become a one stop shop for all needs, meeting people where they are at.
Wednesday - Saturday 10am-5pm
This exists to serve our local community and the world through missionary work, and we do this by reselling, recycling and reusing the items donated.
Ultimately, we want to provide a space of community, make provision for the most needy, alleviate poverty and celebrate Jesus as the inspiration behind it all.
Mondays 9:30am -11am
We enthusiastically provide connection points for any family to be welcomed, loved and supported by the local church, whatever their background.
Toddler group on a Monday morning and half term family events like bounce and the play café are run so numerous families would experience how welcome they are in a language that celebrates family.
Various dates & times
Keep a close eye out for events that; seek to bring generations together, answer the questions everyone is keen to find answers for, and have a brilliant time doing so. These happen at least once a month & can be found on our calendar at Upcoming Events.
media & music
Thursdays & Sundays
We are very keen to make the church more accessible by presenting what we do in a clear and practical way.
We extend the reach of the church to meet people where they are at. We exist to take people on a journey into discovering who God is, and one way we do this is by using music, which is well chosen and excellently presented.
This is all so individuals can discover what we do as part of their daily life and the great hope is that this would be the sound of a generation that resonates with all of the possibilities of heaven here on earth: hope & peace instead of despair & tension.
We connect with these local organizations in order to bring life to the community & the ability to meet individuals where they are at. By joining up projects, we can meet someone and journey with them, in order to direct them to what they need and desire. You can hire facilities or partner with us by clicking here.
map of the building
We now have a space where the whole family can come & relax in whatever day of the week it is. Here you will find refreshments, toys for toddlers and comfortable seating where you may meet a few friendly faces also. You will find this around the back by car park C, next door to Foodbank. All are welcome.
getting to us
Cheltenham is not the most car-friendly town, so encourages everyone in throughout the week to use public or alternative transport. We encourage sustainable transportation also, and do wish to reserve as many on-site car parking spaces for those less able to walk, or those who are new & therefore less familiar with the locality.
We are a 10 minute walk from Cheltenham Spa train station; just head in the direction of town centre.
We have 30 spaces in our car park on a first come first serve basis. We also have free on-road parking & parking in the local supermarket for a maximum 3-hour stay. Just make sure you buy something in store before you leave! You could also car-share to save parking & help us do our bit for the environment.
We have the Honeybourne cycle path that runs right past our church & plenty of space to lock up your bike on site.
We have a bus stop right outside our church called Elim Church & served by buses A, D, E, F & M3. Click here for up to date bus information
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us in advance of your visit.
